Responsibilities:
• Identify and manage legal risks for the company within the ASEAN region.
• Preparing, negotiating and advising on all aspects of customer contracts and company standard terms.
• Working with various business lines, and the company’s finance, regulatory and risk management teams, to provide legal solutions consistent with the company’s corporate policies.
• Ensuring documentation is maintained, and that organizational memory is retained within the company.
Requirements:
• Legal degree from a good university with excellent grades, with 4-6 years’ PQE.
• IT knowledge a must.
• Broad ASEAN commercial law experience with an understanding of US GAAP and Revenue Recognition principles.
• Excellent drafting and analytical skills and an ability to communicate with different cultures and personalities.
• Ability to travel within the region at short notice may be required.
• Ability to work autonomously with little need for supervision.
• Able to speak mandarin as required to liaise with China office
