Technician / Engineering – STW

BROAD FUNCTIONS:
• Perform preventive / line maintenance of assigned manufacturing equipment
• Responsible for setup, maintenance, trouble-shooting, repairs and equipment improvement projects.
• Provide guidance to junior technicians and on-the-job training.
• Tracking and monitoring yield issue tester.
• Provide failure analysis on high failures.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
Regular
• Ensure that manufacturing equipment operate at peak performance and to minimize any potential major breakdown of manufacturing equipment by performing regular and periodic preventive maintenance.
• Ensure that manufacturing receives efficient and effective maintenance coverage and minimum downtime by providing assistance and maintenance support whenever necessary.
• Ensure that all safety and housekeeping instructions and plantwide programs are adhered.
• Ensure superior is well informed on daily line events.
• Participate in line improvement projects via recommendations / contributions.
• Understand and accept responsibility for performing their jobs safely.
• Follow safety and health rules.
• Report accidents and incidents to their immediate supervisor and report hazardous conditions and acts.
• Ensure that manufacturing equipment operate with highest yield by performing yield tracking and monitoring on manufacturing equipment.
• Provide failure analysis on high failure to find the root cause.
Irregular
• Assist in equipment setup and engineering projects.
• Provide technical support to other department through team effort.
• Provide maintenance coverage for shift technician on leave.
• Participate in spare part inventory stock check.
• Perform special assignment as and when directed by immediate supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
