Job description: In partnership with our client Cpl are currently recruiting for a Systems/Software Engineer.

Job Description:
Working on the Support Automation Customer Side Subsystems team you will play a leading role in the development of industry leading remote support technologies that provide hardware fault analysis and system configuration collection. These capabilities are key deliverables to customers as part of their hardware support contract entitlement. Candidate will work directly with a talented team of engineers on customer facing solution and will liaison with a number of partner solutions which are integrated into the overall Support Automaton solution. Dependent upon skills matches and experience a candidate may be assigned to work with the existing WEBES (Web Based Enterprise Services); the RSCC (Remote Support Configuration Collector); or on next generation remote support client capabilities.

Qualifications:
Experience and Education:
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 plus year’s related experience or Master’s degree and a minimum 1 year experience

Key Skills
• Must have current Java/J2SE and/or C++ experience, and proven object oriented development experience
• Experience with Visual Studio 2003, 2005, or 2008
• Current MS Windows development experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work well with geographically diverse and international teams spanning US, Europe, India and China
• Preferred experience includes use/development with; CVS, StarTeam, Java applets, JBoss, HP SIM, HP hardware platforms, PHP, WEBES, RSCC, Linux, HP-UX, PostgreSQL, Hibernate, Eclipse, WBEM/CIM, SNMP and Agile development methodologies

Skills
The minimum level required for Proficiency and Experience is: Intermediate, 1-3 years.
