Tennis Australia (TA) is the national governing body of Tennis, Australia’s favourite. We promote and facilitate participation in Tennis at all levels and also stage national and international tennis events, the most widely recognised of these include the Australian Open (AO), Australian Open Series (AOS), Davis Cup and Fed Cup.

Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, the Site Operations Coordinator will work as part of the Site Operations team to coordinate, administer and implement the maintenance, supply and installation of temporary equipment, associated facilities, capital/minor works and logistics for the Australian Open and
Australian Open Series. Your areas of responsibility include, but are not be limited to:

• Building and Event Construction;
• Facilities and Equipment;
• Logistics;
• Planning and Project Management;
• Budget Maintenance, Controls and Reporting;
• Site Overlay planning;
• Administrative support.

To succeed in this unique role, you will have a broad range of knowledge and experiences that you will now be able to apply in a new and exciting context. You should possess the following:
• Project Management and Budget Control experience (essential);
• General building maintenance, trade knowledge and contractor management experience;
• Ability to understand, interpret and comply with, drawings, contracts and contractual requirements;
• Tertiary qualification in relevant field – Building & Construction / Construction Management / Engineering (desirable);
• Working knowledge of MS Office 2007 (essential), MS Project and intermediate CAD basics (desirable).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) to build strong working relationships with diverse and multiple stakeholders;
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a hands-on team, under pressure and while prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines;
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to organise and manage your time;

Weekend work and flexibility with hours from November to February each year will be required in this position.
