Machine Designer
Summary Statement:
Engineer designs and modifies new and existing equipment to manufacture new product. Modifications to the machine, mechanically and electrically, are done to improve the quality and productivity to uphold Musashi’s policies, customer satisfaction through continuous improvement.
Job Description
Design, build and install machines, components, tools, fixtures and equipment
Kaizen existing machine Analyze dynamics of mechanical systems and equipment
Analyze results from testing Trouble shoot
Verify dimensions of parts using precise measuring instruments
Perform related duties as required
Qualifications
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Solid PLC knowledge
Automotive Experience Self motivated/work alone or in a team environment
Strong trouble shooting skills
Strong skills to follow through task to completion safely
Strong technical skills Strong skills in AutoCAD/CATIA/PLC
Strong skills in reading blueprints
