These Bad Morning Habits are Also Making you age Faster

Bad Morning Habits-Many people start to show signs of aging as soon as they reach their forties. Their dull, dull skin makes you feel like you’re getting older. But even after reaching a certain age, some people still look quite young! Why is this happening? There can be many reasons for this. However, the daily lifestyle is mainly responsible for this. More specifically, the start of your day, that is, some bad morning habits can age you faster. Especially one hour in the morning. A recent article published on Medium.com says that the first hour of waking up can slow down or speed up your aging process. Although it may sound dramatic, it is true. The related article discusses five such mistakes and their solutions.

1. Morning fatigue

This happens to many of us. Even after sleeping for six to eight hours at night, the body feels heavy. It seems that it would be better to sleep more. This heavy feeling, half-awake half-asleep state is called ‘sleep inertia’. In Bengali, it can be called sleep inertia. In simple terms, the brain lags behind the body. That is, even though your body is apparently awake, the brain is still in a sleepy mood. In the first 30 minutes of waking up, your brain’s performance can decrease by up to 30 percent. As a result, it can be confusing to think clearly or make decisions in the morning.

What to do?

You can do three things to fully awaken your body and mind at the same time.

Move your body. You can take a short walk. Small things like moving your neck, arms, and legs will help relieve your stiffness. This will increase blood flow to the brain and activate the muscles.

Splash cold water on your face. This will wake up the nervous system.

Expose your body to sunlight. This natural light will signal your brain that it is morning. It stops the release of melatonin (the sleep hormone) and helps you wake up.

2. Dehydration

Your body naturally loses water through breathing and sweating during sleep. Most people suffer from mild dehydration after waking up. If you have a habit of drinking tea or coffee after waking up instead of drinking water, then keep in mind that you are suffering from dehydration at the beginning of the day.

What to do?

Drink half a liter of water before eating anything else.

Add a pinch of salt (for electrolytes) or a little lemon juice (for vitamin C and digestion).

You will get more benefits if you add a little honey. Honey helps in digestion and increases energy.

Do 5-10 minutes of light exercise in the morning

3. Exercise

This feels bad to even think about exercising after waking up but it is a great way to wake up the body and brain and slow down the aging process. It reduces body stiffness. It increases blood circulation in the body, which helps keep the skin glowing.

What to do?

Don’t be afraid. For this, you are not being told to go to the gym and sweat for hours. Do 5-10 minutes of light exercise. Even light exercise like moving your arms and legs, a dozen squats, climbing stairs, and running a little can be enough in this case.
