Job brief We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Associate to provide financial and administrative services and to ensure accuracy and efficiency of operations.
The Account Service Representative is responsible for the administration of the accounts receivable function.
This position acts as the main point of contact for donors that involve receivables transactions. You will receive, monitor
incoming donations/payments and email invoices/statements of account to the finance department head.
Responsibilities
Perform day to day financial transactions including receiving, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all donations are accounted for and properly reported.
Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts
receivable
Requirements
- High school diploma minimum requirement, but associate’s degree in accounting may lead to better career prospects
- On-the-job training and/or relevant experience; strong mathematical, communication and organizational skills necessary
- Ethical standards and professionalism
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
- Proficiency in English High degree of accuracy and attention to detail 1-3 years accounts receivable and general accounting experience Information management
- Attention to detail and problem solving Perform follow up telephone calls as needed to resolve donation issues.
