Rwanda has reopened all tourism activities to visitors arriving on chartered flights and confirmed to be free of the coronavirus 72 hours prior to arrival in the nation known for endangered gorillas.
“All guests are required to maintain a distance of at least 10 meters at all times while visiting primates in Nyungwe and Volcanoes National Park,” Rwanda Development Board said.

National carrier RwandAir Ltd. has said that national borders remain closed to regular commercial flights and that passenger services will resume once the restrictions are lifted.
Shortly after reporting the first coronavirus case, Rwanda shut down swathes of the economy. So far a total of 636 people have been infected and 296 are yet to recover.
