The most recent update was from 1,318 sample tests. The country has done 76,331 Covid-19 sample tests in total.
Rwanda has reported 2 deaths since the outbreak in mid-March.
Among the steps introduced to curb the spread of this pandemic in other areas are the complete lockdown imposed on the busy city of Rusizi, Kamembe.
In addition, Rwanda is also one of the East African countries that has implemented a regional electronic cargo and driver monitoring system that is expected to prevent the rise of community Covid-19 cases that can be triggered by cross-border truck drivers.
