A 35-year-old pastor identified as Nnamso Friday Jacob a.k.a ‘Major Prophet Honesty Jesus,’ has been arrested by the Akwa Ibom Police Command for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl in his church.
The 16-year-old girl who went in for the Pastor’s “counselling and deliverance” has reportedly been drugged and raped at Jacob ‘s church, the Zion Church’s Living Power located in Ndue Eduo, Okon Eket, Akwa Ibom State’s Eket Local Government Area.
State police spokesperson, N-nudam Fredrick said the incident happened on June 23. He said that;
“While she was in the prophet’s counselling room, the suspect administered an intoxicating liquid substance to the victim and thereafter took advantage of the victim and had unlawful carnal knowledge of her.”
Furthermore Fredrick announced that Jacob is the second pastor to be arrested in less than a month for rape in the state.
