Job Title: Media Buying & Merchandising Manager.
Station: Kampala
Reports to: CFO
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Purchasing all media merchandise in the media store, this includes troubleshooting purchase as necessary.
– Representing the media store to vendors.
– Pricing, planning and arranging merchandise for display.
– Responding to inquiries and complaints regarding merchandise.
– Controlling inventory and checking records of sales and stock.
– Assisting in developing policies.
– Participate in taking bookstore inventory.
– Receiving shipments and verifying all invoices.
Education & Qualifications:
– Bachelors or an associate’s degree or diploma in the field of relating, merchandising, sales and marketing from an accredited institution.
– A post graduate degree in marketing, merchandising or any other discipline will be an added advantage.
Experience:
– 3 years experience in purchasing and merchandising.
– Experience in working at a media store will be added advantage.
– Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
– Knowledge of all legal documentation processes for producing goods and supplies for the store.
