Manager Information Technology (IT) Job
 Job Title: Manager Information Technology (IT).
Reports to: Director of Operations.
Duty station: COE, MulagoKey result areas:
– Design, plan and monitor the implementation and/or extension of various Baylor-Uganda WAN/LAN hardware and software as per Baylor-Uganda ICT strategy.
– Formulate, evaluate and validate ICT policies pertaining to hardware and network systems in line with Baylor-Uganda strategic objectives.
– Prepare annual budgets for IT in line with Baylor-Uganda’s financial guidelines.
– Develop, appraise, support and maintain a competent and motivated “IT team” through giving constructive feedback, coaching and mentoring, in accordance with the human resources manual.
– Develop guidelines on network usage, administration and security mechanisms in order to certify that network performance level of availability conforms to agree standards.

Qualifications and job specifications and personal competences:
– A managerial post graduate training
– A degree in Computer Science or IT or Business Computing, and professional qualifications in CCNA, Microsoft MCSE 2000 and other relevant qualifications.
– 5 years experience in IT.
– Ability to conduct an IT planning, policy and feasibility study.
– Skills in system installation and management; network design, management and security; network monitoring, support and service delivery
– Skills in documentation and information management.
