Isoko North Communities to enjoy 24hrs Electricity Supply as NPDC/FHN OML.26 AMT Cluster to Generate Power.
Some communities in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State are set to enjoy 24hrs electricity power supply as NPDC/ FHN OML.26 AMT, an Oil producing firm operating in the area is set to partners with host communities in provisions of electricity. Power supply is major challenge facing Nigeria and most especially Isoko North LGA.
The power supply which is to be generated from modular Gas turbines from OGINI FLOW STATION will be supplying electricity to the Cluster communities ( Ozoro, Ellu, Ovrode, Aradhe, Ofagbe and others). The project which when completed will attract More foreign investors to the localities which will speed up development and improve the standard of living in the area.
The company is also set to provide prepaid metres to ensure that every household paid according to power consumption. The distribution line cables and the gas modular stations security will be sole responsibilities of community in Oder to minimize the rate of vandalism.
Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor, Chairman Isoko North Local government when addressing the people said one of his focus of his government is to attract foreign investors or private partnership to the local government and he urged the company of level play ground in terms of collection of electricity bills and employment , that the Isoko North Local government and Delta State government is ever ready to provide adequate security for any Organisation or company that is ready to invest in Isoko North Council for effective operation.
