Information
Security Manager required by leading financial industry participant to lead and
manage Security team. You will play a pivotal role in all aspects of security
including security policy, security standards, application security, data
security, compliance and governance.

You
will have a strong background in Information Systems Security, most likely
gained in the financial services sector, or from

working in an information
security consulting capacity for a Consultancy or for a vendor. You will have
management & leadership experience and be capable of being proactive and
independent. You will have experience in carrying out security audits,
penetration testing and in the creation and implementation of security
policies, standards and governance.
You
will have a strong and demonstrable track record in working with large
organisations and will be comfortable in taking responsibility for all aspects
of information security. You will be able to develop, maintain and communicate
the organisation’s Information Security Strategy to maximise awareness and
compliance. You will be familiar with current trends, threats (traditional, new
and emerging), products, services, standards and best practice. You will have a
solid grounding in risk and compliance.
