EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR SECURITY COMPANY VACANCIES

1. INTRODUCTION
   The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), Delta State. Nigeria was established in March 2007 under a Federal Government of Nigeria initiative to build a specialized University to produce unique high-level manpower and relevant expertise for the Oil and Gas sector in Nigeria and worldwide.

The University hereby invites interested, reputable, and competent firms/companies with relevant experience and good track records to respond to the expression of interest for the provision of security service:

2. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
   Prospective bidders are required to submit the following documents along with their expression of interest:
   (i) Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission, namely Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum & Articles of Association, Form CAC07, CAC02 (Certified True Copy).
   (ii) Evidence of Company Income Tax Clearance Certificate for the three (3) years valid all 31st December, 2020.
   (iii) Evidence of current Pension Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2020.
   (iv) Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2020.
   (v) Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2020.
   (vi) Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors. Consultants and Service Providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 31/12/2020 or valid Certificate issued by BPP
   (vii) Evidence of current registration with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
   (viii) Sworn Affidavit.
   (i) Disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant committees of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun, Delta is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and to confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all details;
   (ii) That the company is not in receivership/bankruptcy;
   (iii) That none of the Directors or partner, of the company/firm is an ex-convict in any country for any criminal offence relating to fraud or financial impropriety;
   Company Profile indicating management structure, size, strength and number of Management, Technical and Non-Technical Staff, with the Curriculum Vitae of key staff to be deployed for the assignments, including copies of their Academic/ Professional Qualifications;
   (ix) Verifiable evidence of at least three (3) organizations/establishments where the company offered similar assignments or services in the last five (5) years (tabulated) with details comprising of Client Name, Brief Description of Services, Location, Contract value, Status of Contract i.e. completed or ongoing, in addition to the evidence of letters of engagement, contract agreements, payment certificates from clients;
   (x) All documents for submission must be transmitted with a Covering/Forwarding Letter under the Company s letter-head paper bearing amongst others, the Registration No (RC) as issued by the CAC, Contact Address. Telephone No. and email address The Letter¬head paper must bear the names and nationalities of the Directors of the Company at the bottom of the page, duly signed by the authorized officer of the company.
3. SUBMISSION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
   All EOI documents must be hand delivered and submitted in three copies in a sealed envelope and the project name clearly stated with the package number and addressed to:

4. OPENING OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
   EOI must be submitted on or before 12:00noon on Friday, 3 July, 2020. Firms/Service Providers/Companies and their representatives, civil society organisations and the general public are invited to witness the opening process.
   (5) NOTES:
   (a) Firms/Companies that are successful will be contacted at a date for the collection of Request for Proposals;
   (b) The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, Delta Sate (FUPRE) is not bound to award contract to any Consultant and reserves the right to annul the procurement process at any time without incurring any liabilities in accordance with Section 24 of the Public Procurement Act, 2007.
   (c) FUPRE reserves the right to verify claims made by any service provider/company/firm.
   (d) Submitting false document is an offence, which will lead to disqualification and prosecution.
   (e) EOI must be in English Language and signed by an authorized official of the bidder.
   (f) Submission after the deadline will be returned un-opened.
