EF Education First (EF) is looking for a dynamic and effective Program Manager to drive the successful implementation and execution of a critical upskilling program for the tourism and hospitality industry in Rwanda (see www.ef.com/rwanda for more information about the program). The role will report to one of EF’s experienced Program Managers and will be supported by EF’s network of global, regional as well as a team of direct reports.

Someone with a proven track record of building, leading and motivating high-performing project teams, as well as managing the successful planning and execution of complex projects.
To proactively collaborate with a wide range of key stakeholders across all levels of seniority, the role will require exceptional interpersonal skills – the ability to think fast, communicate effectively, build trust and develop strong relationships to secure continued support for the program.
The right candidate will need to think strategically and analytically and possess the ability to solve problems creatively. In this role, your day to day work will vary tremendously – enabling you to serve as a trusted advisor, consultant, project leader, change manager, analyst, internal communication specialist, and in many more capacities. Ultimately, this role requires a fast learner, who is able to shape and mold the role into their own.

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Successful track record in managing large-scale projects in Rwanda and beyond
- B2B and B2G client-facing, preferably Public-Private Partnership, work experience
- Advanced digital and analytical skills
- Fluency in Kinyarwanda, French, and English
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel) skills
- Undergraduate Degree
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience
- International education and work experience are a plus
