A Walk-in-Interview will be held. at this Institute to engage bonafide Indian citizens for the post of a Junior Research Fellow (Proj.) for working in a sponsored project of DST(Govt. of India) and CSIR(New Delhi) tenable at this Institute. The post is purely temporary and will be co terminus with the duration of the project. The details are as follows:
Jr. Research Fellow ( Proj.)
Vacancies – 1 (One) Post
Minimum Qualifications : A) 1st Class B.Tech. / B.Sc.(Tech.) in Ceramics/Silicate/ Metallurgy /Materials Science or equivalent and GATE qualified OR M.Tech. in the same discipline OR 1st Class M Sc. in inorganic / Physical chemistry or equivalent and NET qualified. NET LS may also eligible to appear for interview.
Possessing of minimum educational qualifications and background will not guarantee selection for a candidate and the decision of the committee will be final.
Stipend : Rs.16,000/- per month + H. R.A. and stipend for NET LS is Rs.12,000/- + H.R.A.
Age : Upper Limit is 28 years (as on 01.01.2011) which is relaxable as per Govt. rules.
Tenure: 3 years
The candidates should bring applications addressed to Director CGCRI, Kolkata giving complete biodata (including name, father’s name, date of birth, educational qualification, experience, permanent and present address with phone number, E-mail etc.) along with one self attested copy of each certificate. The original certificates also should be brought for verification. Candidates should report at least one hour before the interview for verification. Interim enquires in this respect will not be attended.
