Responsibilities:
1. Provide ad-hoc analysis for the business as a whole.
2. Provide on-going (sales) reports to Corporate Head Office and the internal business to monitor the performance of the sales team according to their objectives.
3. Provide segmentation analysis of our customer base, identifying opportunities and issues through this analysis. Compile detailed profitability reporting at individual customer level.
4. Support the Trading department to manage the margin by providing on-going analysis and monthly reports highlighting the performance of various segments.
5. Support in preparation of Management pack for the Board with Finance team
6. Provide various monthly reports to both internal business and Corporate H/O with corresponding knowledge.
7. Work closely within the sales, purchasing and finance team providing insight, analysis, consistently developing reports / templates to develop the business.
8. Work with both Sales and Finance in setting up and compiling the annual budgeting process.
Experience required:
– Qualification as accountant not required but good understanding of financial results expected.
– At least 2 – 3 years experience in a Finance department.
– Strong attention to detail.
– Strong interpersonal communication skills.
– Extremely numerate analytical.
– Strong computer skills (Microsoft office, Databases (Oracle Discoverer))
– Commercially minded.
– Good decision maker who is able to work on their own initiative.
The Package:
Salary: €35,000 to €40,000 (depending on experience)
Bonus: 10% personal performance related.
Status: 12 month contract.
