NUS – Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (Dean’s Office) Assistant Manager (Infrastructure Planning & Operations) Job Vacancy in Singapore

The Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (YLLSoM) is an integral member of the National University Health System (NUHS). Dedicated to creating synergies to advance NUHS’ tripartite mission of excellence in clinical care, translational clinical research and education, its Admin Division invites suitably qualified candidates for the post of:

Assistant Manager (Infrastructure Planning & Operations)

You will deputise Senior Manager (Infrastructure Planning & Operations) in facilities planning & management and workplace safety and health efforts for the School. Functions under the purview of the incumbent include: facilities planning & management, project/space management, Fire safety, Enterprise Risk co-ordination.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Facilities/Project Management
• To liaise with Admin Heads/Department/Principal Investigators/ Centres co-ordinators on the scope of work for any renovation project.
• To liaise with OED/appointed contractor for the execution of renovation works/project and maintain an oversight over the progress of work.
• To liaise with the estate office, contractor and vendor to ensure smooth delivery of goods and services.

2. Resource Allocation and Management
• To work with respective departments on space requirement
• To manage space verification exercise on admin, research and teaching space utilization in YLLSoM and follow up on related reports
• To provide secretarial support for the Space planning committee

3. Crisis Management
• To assist in Crisis Management planning and conduct of regular simulation exercises relating to fire/crisis situation
• To assist in the promulgation/review/verification of the Crisis Management, Business Continuity plans, Fire Emergency plan and Contingency plans for the School

4. Enterprise Risk
• To assist in the planning and co-ordination of Domain level Enterprise Risk Assessment activities.
Requirements:
• Degree holder with at least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Preference is given to candidates with experience in M&E systems, property/facilities planning & management, procurement process and systems (GeBiz), management of BSL research facilities
• Proven written, communication and project management skills
• Resourceful, meticulous, responsible, self-driven, team player and ability to work within tight deadlines
• Proficiency in various software including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio would be an advantage
