Machining Company in the Dandenong area needs a Technical Sales Representative
to create new business opportunities
Reporting to the Company Manager and
working closely with the manufacturing manager your role will be to create new
business opportunities and build strong relationships with existing
clients. With a background in engineering machining and fabrication
services and the ability to look outside the square and hit the ground
running when it comes to creating new sales opportunities.

Your role will be to simply talk to
people and build relationships with potential clients. You will work
from the existing data base plus create new avenues of
opportunity. You may also get involved in minor design work
and must be able to read and analyse technical fabrication drawings with
minimal assistance.

We require a dynamic individual with
the ability to work autonomously in a small close nit team where communication
is open. You will be required to read and follow technical and workshop
drawings and have a good understanding of the fabrication and machining
industry with a good mechanical aptitude.

- Trade or Engineering qualifications.
- Professional sales skills to sell an
manufactured engineering service - Ability to network and build relationships.
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Must understand contracts and the tendering
process - Self starter with the ability to identify a
potential sales opportunity - Liaise at all management levels
