Australia. Due to continued growth we are seeking the service of an Essential Safety Measures inspector.
The successful applicant will be responsible for inspecting a wide range of
commercial, industrial, retail, health, education, detention and residential
sites to identify and inspect building fire and saf
ety measures and related
maintenances and to prepare accurate and detailed reports.
The applicant will require
attributes including;
- A professional, positive hands-on approach
- Ability to work in a team environment while being
self-managed - Outstanding interpersonal skills
- A high level of initiative
- Effective observation and reporting skills
- Sound IT knowledge
- Current Australian drivers licence
- Working with children checks
Preferences will be given
to those who hold;
- Fire protection maintenance experience
- Fire-fighting qualifications
- Certificates in Fire Safety or relevant trade
qualifications - Building Facility experience
- Proficient knowledge of the Building Code of Australia
- Sound knowledge of Essential Safety Measures
The position is Melbourne based
and will possibly involve state wide travel and depending on qualification, may
involve some interstate travel.
Salary package negotiable commensurate with experience
