Hays are currently recruiting for
a Hor
ticulturist to join a well established team in a local Council in the
inner city. Starting immediately this is an ongoing contract working full-time
hours.

To be considered for this position you must have an valid certificate 3 or 4 in
Horticulture as well as previous experience working within a similar position,
applicants with Traffic Control Tickets, Chemical Spraying Accreditation, an MR
or HR licence and/or Chainsaw tickets as well as the other requirements are
highly desirable.

In this role you will be required to confidently identify plants and shrubs and
complete tasks such as pruning and trimming trees, shrubs, and hedges, use of
small plant equipment including mowers/edgers as well as driving the Council
trucks.
