Job Description:
The Private Sector Federation is an umbrella organization that represents the
interests of the business community through policy advocacy as well as
facilitating business development. The private sector hereby invites applications
from suitably qualified Rwandan citizens for the following post: Head of
Training and Development

Job Title: Head of Training and Development

Duties and Responsibilities:
Among other duties, he /she shall perform the following:
– Identifying training needs/skills gaps within PSF members and staff
– Initiate, design and coordinate capacity building programs
– Co-ordinate and facilitate training
– Coordinate and facilitate study tours activities
– Develop a comprehensive annual, quarterly and annual training calendar
– Initiate revenue generating programs through trainings
– Supervising the work of trainers
– Coordinate the industrial attachment programs
– Prepare position papers on skills development
– Any other duty assigned to you by the supervisor and superiors.

Interested candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
– Hold at least a master´s degree in human resources management, economics,
law, business management and administration or related discipline;
– Have at least 5-10 years hands on experience in capacity building or related
disciplines
– Good leadership skills and ability to develop training modules for skills
development
– Sound and current knowledge of technological solutions especially E-Business
tools
– Possess strong people management, quality orientation, planning and
organizational skills.
– Experience working in the support of businesses and coaching in a business
setting
– Possess a high level of analytical skills and be able to manage donor funded
capacity building projects
– Have the ability to negotiate and develop good relationships with donors and
governmental agencies involved in the capacity building;
– Fluency in English and/or French. Having a working knowledge of the other
would be an added advantage
– Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams
