Copy Trade is the Banana Gun feature that mirrors a wallet you choose into your own trades, the moment that wallet acts. Banana Gun is a Telegram trading bot, so every step below happens inside one chat on your phone, without a separate app or dashboard.
Open the Banana Gun Telegram Trading Bot on Your Phone
You start by opening the Banana Gun Telegram trading bot the same way you would open any chat, no download or install screen involved.
Login runs through Privy, a sign-in layer that lets you connect with an existing Google, X, or Telegram account instead of creating a new password for one more service.
Banana Gun is non-custodial. The bot never takes custody of your funds, and your keys stay yours through every trade Copy Trade places on your behalf.
Banana Gun works across Solana, Ethereum, Base, and Robinhood Chain. Before you go further, confirm the wallet you want to follow is actually active on one of those four networks.
How Do You Pick a Wallet Worth Copying?
Once you are logged in, the next decision is which wallet address to follow. Copy Trade mirrors that wallet’s trades into your account as they happen, buy for buy and sell for sell.
Picking the wallet is the real decision here, not a setting inside the bot. A wallet with a long visible history of trades gives you more to judge than one you found in a random tip.
Nothing about Copy Trade changes what happens if that wallet makes a bad call. A copied wallet can still lose money, and mirroring its trades means you take on the same loss on your side.
If you want to see what a completed trade looks like before you commit real funds, Banana Gun’s walkthrough of a first trade covers the flow end to end.
Set Buy Fixed, Market Cap Limits, and Your Spend Limit
With a wallet chosen, you decide how much of each copied trade you actually want to take on. Buy Fixed copies every trade from that wallet at an amount you set yourself, regardless of how large or small the original trade was.
That single setting matters more than it looks. A wallet you follow might commit a large position to one trade and a tiny one to the next; Buy Fixed keeps your own exposure consistent either way.
Next comes Min Market Cap and Max Market Cap, a floor and a ceiling for which trades get copied at all. Anything the followed wallet buys outside that range gets skipped rather than mirrored.
Then set your Spend Limit, the cap on the total amount committed across every copied trade combined. Once the running total across all your Copy Trade positions hits that number, the bot stops opening new ones.
Together these three settings decide how much of the wallet you are following actually reaches your own balance, and how much gets filtered out before it does.
What Do Trailing Stop Loss and Buy Only Once Actually Control?
Trailing Stop Loss decides your exit. It closes a copied position once price falls back by the amount you set, locking in a realized result instead of leaving the position open indefinitely.
A stop loss closing is still a loss. Setting one limits how far a bad trade runs against you, but it does not turn that trade into a win.
Buy Only Once decides whether a repeated buy from the same wallet turns into repeated exposure for you. It stops a second entry into the same token inside a window confirmed inside the bot, so one wallet’s repeat purchases do not stack on your side.
Two protections run in the background regardless of what you set. Anti-Rug protection screens for common warning signs by default, and a separate pre-trade check blocks contracts the bot cannot sell out of later. Neither replaces checking a project yourself.
None of these settings work in isolation. Buy Fixed decides your size, Market Cap limits decide what qualifies, Spend Limit decides your ceiling, and Trailing Stop Loss and Buy Only Once decide how you exit and how often you re-enter. Setting all six before you turn Copy Trade on gives you a full picture of your exposure instead of discovering it one trade at a time.
Common questions
Does Copy Trade guarantee a profit once it is set up?
No. Copy Trade mirrors another wallet’s trades, and that wallet can lose money the same as any trader. Buy Fixed, Spend Limit, and Trailing Stop Loss control your exposure, not the outcome of any single trade, and a losing trade on the wallet you follow still lands on your side too.
What happens if the wallet you are copying makes a bad trade?
The Banana Gun Telegram trading bot copies it into your account the same way it copies a good one. Copy Trade mirrors trades as they happen, so a wallet’s mistake becomes your mistake too, sized by whatever you set in Buy Fixed.
Does Anti-Rug protection stop every bad token from being copied?
No. Two checks run by default: Anti-Rug protection screens for common warning signs, and a separate pre-trade check blocks contracts the bot cannot sell out of. Both catch different problems, but neither is a substitute for reviewing a project before you decide to follow it.
Do you need anything besides Telegram to run Copy Trade?
No separate app or exchange account is required. Banana Gun is a Telegram trading bot, so login through Privy, wallet selection, and every filter covered here happen inside the same Telegram chat on your phone, from opening the bot to setting your first Buy Fixed amount.
