Job Title: Account Officer
Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Objective
- To manage the financial transactions of the company
Responsibilities
- Ensures that costs and revenue are properly captured
- Reconciling stock utilization
- Preparing budget forecasts
- Processing tax payments and returns
- Administer and reconcile all bank accounts, investigating any irregularities, and taking appropriate action
- Prepares weekly creditors and debtors schedule
- Prepares report of daily bank lodgments and bank balances
- Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders
Skills / Competencies Requirements
- OND in Accounting
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role
- Excellent use of MS Excel, MS Word and general Microsoft skill
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Account certification is an added advantage
- IFRS knowledge is an added advantage
