Ron Jeremy, American adult film star and stand-up comedian, made his first court appearance since being charged with raping three women and sexually harassing another.
Jeremy was arraigned at the Los Angeles Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center after being arrested on Tuesday.
Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey said the 67-year-old adult film star, whose real name is Ronald Jeremy Hyatt, is charged with forcibly raping a 25-year-old woman at a West Hollywood home in May 2014.
He allegedly then sexually harassed two more women, aged 33 and 46, on separate occasions in 2017 at a bar in West Hollywood.
The District Attorney’s Office said a lawsuit against Hyatt was also dismissed due to insufficient evidence from an incident in 2016.’
They had said in a statement: ‘Prosecutors are recommending bail at $6.6 million.’ He faces a possible maximum sentence of 90 years to life in state prison if convicted’
He wrote on his verified Twitter Page: ‘I am innocent of all charges. I can’t wait to prove my innocence in court! Thank you to everyone for all the support.’

During the past, several women claimed they were groped by the 40-year porn veteran without their permission, the allegations led to Jeremy being barred from several high profile events in the adult industry.
Jeremy was accused in September 2017 of inappropriately touching Kristin Brodie who asked him to sign her breast at a state radio station in Washington.
Brodie told the Daily Beast at the time: ‘Our Rock Girl uniforms are just torn up T-shirts. There’s not a lot of coverage so you can see the top part of your chest. There’s no need to move the collar but that’s what he did to all three of us.
‘He pulled our shirts open and reached inside our bras, all the way to the bottom and squeezed hard almost pulling [our breasts] out of our bra, and for me it felt like he was squeezing an udder or appraising something. It was very unpleasant.
‘I was nervous… but I was a Rock Girl and knew I was being watched, so with that knowledge I tried to look unbothered and unfazed even though I was not.’
Police interviewed witnesses and reviewed surveillance videos but the Tacoma City Attorney’s office decided not to bring charges against them.
A famous adult film actress the same year who wished to remain anonymous even accused Jeremy of sexually assaulting her.
‘The first time I met him on set he put his fingers in my pu**y unexpectedly. I was brand new, outside smoking a cigarette and he comes out just being Ron Jeremy. All of a sudden he’s fingering me, and I’m like, whoa,’ the woman told Daily Beast.
‘He was just there as an extra on set, he wasn’t even there performing. We joke about it—there’s Ron, stay five feet away from him because he does that.
‘We don’t think anything of it. Unfortunately, it doesn’t even register. It’s like, oh great, another girl got groped by Ron Jeremy, join the club.’
