After months of battle with his boss, Rotimi Akeredolu, Ondo State Deputy Governor Agboola Ajayi has resigned as a member of the All Progressives Congress ( APC).
He left the APC to join the opposition People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) in Ward 2, Apoi in Ondo State’s Ese-Odo Local Government Area.
The development was confirmed on Sunday evening by Mr Ajayi ‘s spokesperson, Tope Okeowo.
Mr Ajayi’s defection comes one day after he’s had an argument over a car with the state police commissioner.
