SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Sequel to the recommendation of the State Executive Council (EXCO) on its meeting of 28th May, 2020 and the State Council on Public Procurement, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State Engr. Dr David Nweze Umahi in line with Ebonyi State Public Procurement and Related Matters Law 016 of 2020 has approved the sale of the following Rice 3MTPH Modern Rice Mills/Cassava Processing Plants located in the three Senatorial Zones of the State They are:

Consequent upon this, the general public is hereby invited to bid for the Rice Mills/Cassava Plants.
Interested members of the public, companies, corporate organizations are given between Monday 15 June, 2020 to Wednesday 15 July, 2020 to forward to the State Bureau on Public Procurement, Cabinet Office. Abakaliki, or come with their sealed bids on 15 July, 2020 during bids opening with the following bidding documents:
(1) The name of the bidder.
(2) The lot number and the amount they wish to pay for each lot.
(3) Payment plans.
(4) Phone Number/Address of the bidder.
(5) Evidence of financial standing to meet up with the payment plan.
(6) Two drafts of N 10m each totaling N20m must be included as bids security for each lot.
Note the following:
(1) All those bidding documents should be in a sealed envelope and submitted to the office of the Executive Secretary, State Council on Public Procurement, Cabinet Office, Abakaliki.
(2) The sales of the Rice-Mills/Cassava Plants shall be by open competitive bidding.
(3) Bids will be opened on Thursday 16 July, 2020 by 12pm.
(4) Bureau shall sale based on evaluation of submitted documents.
(5) Bids shall be evaluated and bid security of N20m in two drafts to be included in the bidding documents for each lot.
