A 34-year-old Nigerian man has been detained by the City Crime Branch of Bengaluru, CCB and seized 20gm of cocaine from him.
The accused, identified as Ekene Okonkwo alias Charlie, a resident of Hennur Bande, Bangalore, was nabbed after the police had received a tip-off on his activities.
According to Bangalore Mirror, the police raided his house and seized the cocaine. Police said the accused also violated the visa regulations and had overstayed in the city.
According to the police, if he were released, he would be traveling around the city to reach out to more people. He would also sell drugs to customers known to him.
A case has been registered at the Hennur Police Station.
