Project Accountant
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the timely and accurate tracking and monitoring of capital, lease and expense spending in connection with the AFE.
* Monitor and track spending by call-offs AFE and ensure compliance to the AFE.
* Prepare monthly Expansion Project AFE status.
* Compare Actual Monthly and YTD Spend with AFE and Budget/Forecast.
* Reconcile spending with reported Financial Statements in accordance with local statutory and USGAAP.
* Review with Project Managers and Regional Process Owners on timing of placement of Purchase Orders, changes in schedules, interdependencies, reschedules, etc.
* Prepare and review summaries of AFE spend/commitments versus approved.
* Periodic audit of AFE transactions.
Requirements:
* Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or professional certificate.
* Minimum 3 years of working experience in a manufacturing MNC, construction company or a major accounting firm.
* Good knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards.
* Knowledge of SAP.
* Conversant with Microsoft Office Suite.
* Hands-on approach with a keen attention to details.
* Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
