Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet School seeks a Lead Counsellor for its Residence. The Lead Counsellor is a senior manager within the Residence and ensures the provision of a safe, healthy, supportive and nurturing environment for the RWB School students.
Lead Counsellor
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years work experience in a counselling capacity, an understanding of adolescent development and a basic knowledge of psychology. Candidates will have proven interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. To effectively engage with the students, this full time position is scheduled evenings and weekends.
Lead Counsellor

Applicants must have a minimum Class 5 driver’s license and be willing and able to obtain a Class 4 drivers’ license. Applicants must have or be willing to procure a current First Aid/CPR Certificate. The successful candidate will be required to provide Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry Checks.
