POSITION: AGRIBUSINESS MANAGEMENT OFFICER
The officer will technically support cooperatives in governance/ institutional and for better management of agribusiness. The officer shall conduct capacity-building processes tailored to the needs of CABCS clients in order to establish professionalism in their business operations.

Roles of the Agribusiness Management Officer
1. Develop together with CABCS clients’ requirements to operate as formal marketing cooperatives having proper governance and management systems.
2. Develop in a participatory manner and present cooperatives’ realistic business plans that guide their business agenda,
3. Build systems to enable clients in creative mobilization of working capital from internal sources and for access and recovery of funds from financial intermediaries.
4. Design and present clients’ strategic business focus for organizational interventions to have measurable impact at cooperative and household level
5. Monitor and report on the effectiveness and adaptability rate of CABCS business solutions provided to her clients through training, mentoring and coaching processes.
6. Prepare and present timely and quality work plans, schedules, budgets and reports in accordance with established criteria

Job requirement
Required Qualifications
• A bachelors’ degree in agribusiness, economics, business administration, or any other relevant field
• Postgraduate qualification in community development disciplines is an added advantage
• At least 3 years of working experience in NCOS’ Companies in agribusiness development
• Knowledge of computer office packages
• Business formulation processes
• Business planning
• Business operations management

Positions available: One
Nature of employment: Three years renewable contract
Salary: Attractive
Duty station: Fort Portal with a lot of travel to the field
