empower youth through access to health, education and economic opportunities.

livelihoods for current and future generations.
Position
Overview:
Komo Learning
Centres (KLC) seeks a Country Director to lead programs, operations, and
partnerships in Uganda.
Reports to: Co-Founder and Vice
President of Komo Learning Centres
Responsibilities
- Work
with leadership and board to set strategic vision and long-term planning - Represent
KLC to all external stakeholders - Cultivate
government, donor, and NGO partnerships - Identify
funding opportunities and lead fundraising and business development with
support from US board - Oversee
staff and operations including: human resources, financial management, and
monitoring and evaluation - Oversee
youth development programming - Oversee
NAWEC clinic and health programming
Qualifications:
Required
- Written
and spoken fluency in English - Proficiency
in Microsoft Office Suite - Bachelor’s
degree in nonprofit management, business or other related field - Proven
success in managing diverse teams - Exposure
to monitoring and evaluation, health programming and youth programming - Basic
understanding accounting and financial management - Exceptional
problem-solving solving skills and analytical capabilities - Strong
interpersonal skills and proven ability to build and maintain strong
relationships in a multicultural environment
Preferred
- Master’s
degree in public administration, business administration, public health or
related field or equivalent work experience - Experience
working with grassroots nonprofit organizations in developing countries - Background
in management consulting - Experience
in grant writing and fundraising
