University Degree in Social Science, Development planning, Planning,
Evaluation, Survey Implementation, Ad
vanced Statistical Research

2 yrs of professional work experience in programme development and
implementation including monitoring and evaluation activities, At least 1
instance of exposure to emergency programming, including preparedness planning,
Active involvement in a humanitarian crisis response programme preferred

Fluency in English and Chichewa
Communication, Working with people, Drive for results, Formulating strategies
and concepts, Analysing, Applying Technical Expertise, Planning and Organising,
Computer skills – various office applications, Demonstrated ability to work in
a multicultural environment, and establish harmonious and efficient working
relationships both within and outside the organisation, Initiative, passion and
commitment to UNICEF’s mission and professional values

Fixed term Appointment with an initial period of one year
Technical oversight and quality assurance of all child protection section
monitoring and evaluations organisational obligations such as oversight of the
IMERP and monitoring of the RAM
Effective communication and partnerships are achieved in rolling out the CPIMS
planning of research, monitoring and project evaluation activities at sub-national,
national, regional and global levels
