145 Nigerians who had been stuck in Sudan following the COVID-19 pandemic arrived in the country on Friday 26 June.
They were evacuated via an Air Sudan flight that arrived about 12.45pm local time at Nnamdi Azikiwe Int’l airport, Abuja. As stipulated by Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, all Evacuees will now proceed on 14 days of self-isolation.

167 Nigerians stranded in South Africa on Thursday, June 25, were evacuated to Nigeria in a related development. All 167 of them tested negative to the novel virus before they were evacuated.
