of individuals, businesses, foundations and governments.

Purpose
of the Assignment
UNICEF
Rwanda primarily works with the Government of Rwanda to support various
development initiatives. To implement these initiatives and to promote UNICEF’s
agenda on the fulfillment of children’s rights, there is need to engage with a
broader range of partners, including civil society organisations (CSOs) and the
emerging private sector. UNICEF has been working with international and
national CSOs in several sectors, in both the development and humanitarian
contexts. However, there is potential of engaging with more CSOs and the private
sector. To explore this potential, it is imperative to gather information on
existing and potential partners in UNICEF’s areas of interest. It is against
this background that UNICEF seeks to employ an individual consultant to
facilitate the mapping of potential partners within the private sector and
CSOs.
Under
the supervision of the Chief of Communication, Advocacy and Partnerships, the
selected consultant will be responsible for carrying out the activities and
scope of work outlined in the objectives below related to engagement with the

members, and health / education experts.

in the tea sector, analyse key drivers and underlying root causes of children’s

children’s rights and strengthen positive impacts.

draft summary report. Communicate findings to key stakeholders facilitated by
UNICEF and NAEB, and refine assessment findings based on feedback.
