Our client is
looking for a
Team Leader Relation Managers
in their Botswana Office to m
anage
Relationship Managers and obtain new business for VAF and nurture relationships
with clients and suppliers.

Requirements

Preferred
experience :
4
years marketing experience
Preferred
qualification/s :
Secondary


Financial:

  • Ensure
    that assets financed by the bank are adequately protected by means of
    insurance cover
  • Cross-sell
    bank’s products and services
  • Prudent
    application of finance charges to maximise returns

Customer:

  • Follow
    a structured a customer calling programme
  • Conduct
    interviews with customers applying for finance in an effective and
    professional manner
  • Attend
    to customer enquiries relative to asset finance
  • Be
    constantly aware of opportunities for new business and to follow up
    business which might be lost to other bank e.g. request for references,
    request for settlements
  • Nurture
    relationships with dealerships to optimise sales opportunities as well as customers
  • Develop
    relationships with Wholesale and Retail Banking to ensure that VAF
    services these markets
  • Report
    on market trends and development

Internal
Business Processes:

  • Analyse
    and interpret financial statements
  • Preparation
    of applications for credit and general assessment
  • Obtain
    all supporting documents i.e. identification documents, license, pay slip
    and financial statements
  • Attend
    to settlement quotes


Learning
& Growth:

  • To
    continually keep abreast of development of new products, changes to legislations
    relevant to VAF products
  • Maintain
    an enthusiastic personal responsibility for the total functioning of ABF
    by encouraging immediate subordinates to consider new markets, services
    and systems so that the management process remains dynamic and creative
  • Review
    performance of immediate subordinates and reward individuals in accordance
    with own and business’ performance within the framework of the bank and
    country’s policy
  • Ensure
    that staff understand their roles in relation to objectives and policies
  • Delegate
    authority and responsibility judiciously to promote staff motivation and
    efficiency in all activities within ABF
  • Ensure
    that adequate training and developmental opportunities are provided to all
    staff.
