annually: 2000 Broilers, 300 Turkeys, 399 Layers, 60 Pigs, and 30 Sheep.
Vegetable production includes: Asparagus, garlic, blackberries, grapes, and
fruit trees. The farm has significant infrastructure in place and is expanding
its operations.

About
the position

This
is a full time position (40 hour per week) that requires working Saturday and
Sunday.

Starting
wage is $15.00 per hour. For the right candidate this could turn into a Farm
Manager Position.

Day to Day Operations
- Feeding
livestock, involves carrying 50Lb bags of feed - Cleaning
animal housing - Loading
and transporting livestock for processing - Moving
chicken tractors - Moving
portable fencing - Collecting
and processing eggs - Managing
irrigation systems - Fruit
and vegetable planting, weeding, and harvesting - Providing
sales and customer service for our on farm store - Preparing
freezer inventory and custom orders for farmers markets - Working
at farmers markets - Maintaining
the farms excellent landscaped appearance
Skill
Required
Required
- Be
able to lift 50Lb - Driver’s
license - Math
skill required for retail cash sales and inventory management - Microsoft
Word and Excel
