The civil engineer
will provide quality assurance services to ongoing and planed infrastructure
development, The incumbent will not be directly responsible for construction
but rather s/he will ensure that those doing the construction adhere to
industry standards and specifi
cations
The holder of this
position must have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in a relevant Engineering
field – preferably Civil Engineering – from a recognized University, They must
have a minimum of 7 yrs experience in designing, planning, implementation,
supervising and reporting on community level infrastructural works, The holder
must have a wide experience in constructions and contracts management, They
should have at least 3 yrs experience a manager or senior leadership position,
Knowledge and application of auto/arch CAD and GIS will be an advantage, Should
be paid up member of a professional body and a holder of a valid certificate of
practice
