and Responsibilities Librarian II – Mwanza –

• Deal with queries from readers
• Compile statistical data and work sheet.
• Shelve, files and issues books
• Assist in identifying book/Journals requir
ements.
• Assist in the running of manuals operation in various sections of the library
as routine duties
• Shelve books and periodicals.
• Assist in the inter library lending
• Search bibliography
• Maintain and catalogues added copies
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required
Qualifications
• Holder of Bachelor Degree in library and Information Studies, librarianship
or any other relevant field from recognized Institution plus ICT skills.
• Must be able to use Library packages.

SALARY: PGSS 6 As
per Treasury Registrar’s salaries
Circular No.6 of 2015
GPA: 3.5 or B+ and above
AGE LIMIT: Not above 35 years.
