Rwanda is seeking a Training Officer who will prepare and Coordinate a series
of training and sensitisation programmes on Disability Rights, Inclusive
Education, Special Needs Education, and the care and support of children with
disabilities to a range of stakeholders. The Training officer with work with
the Project Coordinator and Resource room officer to ensure the project outcome
is delivered to the quality required by the programme.

Key
responsibilities
responsibilities
- Overall
responsibility is to lead on the design, delivery, monitoring and
reporting of all training and capacity building activities in the project
working with a team of experts. - Coordinate
with other stakeholders to produce standardised training modules (in
consultation with other stakeholders including the L3 resources in the
REB) and to deliver training using the modules. - Directly
deliver training to the target groups independently or through co-trainers
from amongst the group of experts mentioned above. - Be
accountable for all financial and material resources used in the
implementation of the activities. - Ensure
all resources required for the activities are in place as required. - Ensure
quality control of all trainings - Ensure
all training proceedings are well documented - Ensure
effective monitoring of the impact of training as per the M&E
framework for the project for example through pre- and post-testing of
participants and field visits to assess impact at the level of service
delivery and response to the needs of the target groups. - Ensure
internal reporting requirements are met in terms of deadlines and content
including
progress of activities, M&E, challenges, mitigation actions, and
financial accountability.
Requirements
- You
will need to have a degree in a related subject preferably in social
science, demonstrable experience in working with local government
/programme administration and management; excellent interpersonal and
planning skills are essential along with the capacity to work as an effective
team player; self-motivated, with attention to details and pro-active,
with strong communication skills (fluency in English, French and
Kinyarwanda) and good computer skills.

Compensation:
- Gross
monthly starting salary up to: Rwf 687,500Rwf - 100%
medical insurance for staff and dependents - 5.5%
