Sector Development Adviser
The
UK Government’s Department for Inter-national Development is looking for a
Private Sector Development Adviser (PSO adviser), based in Kigali. This post is
open to those who have a right to live and work In Rwanda.
This
is an exciting time to be working on private sector development in Rwanda. DFID
shares the Government of Rwanda’s New that private sector-led economic growth
is critical for long term development and sustainable’ poverty reduction.

private sector led growth and DFID is
committed to supporting this.

The
Private Sector Development Adviser will take a lead in supporting the Team
Leader/ Senior PSD Adviser, in effectively implementing DFID Rwanda’s Private
Sector Development Programmes. This will involve driving the successful
implementation of DFID /IFC’s forthcoming Investment Climate Program, and
ensuring effective delivery of the Trade Mark East Africa (TMEA) programme in
partnership with DFID’s regional team In Nairobi. Additionally, the adviser
will lead on cross cutting private sector development advisory support to DFID
Rwanda, provide Input into the DFID Private Sector Development cadre and
contribute to effective leadership, strategic direction and management of DFID
