Our client’s recent requirement:
Our client is a highly successful and growing Australian building and
development group with offices all around the country.. With large high-rise
projects around the valued from $50.0mil to $400mil already secured in
nationally they are now seeking a Design Manager to play a pivotal role in the
successful delivery of projects. This role will initially (6 months) move into
a Group Design Managers role.
As Design Manager you will be responsible for Assist in running, planning and
managing the project / projects during the tender and construction phase,
Assist in running, planning and managing the project during the tender and
construction phase, Assist in review & peer review of consultants design
and drawings, Assist contract administrator to plan, prepare tendering
packages, Coordination and liaise with builders and key consultants and other
relevant tasks authorised by Construction Manager.
Your will ideally have a minimum of 10 years local experience working in a
similar role, You must have an understanding of local construction knowledge as
well as be able to scrutinise all design aspect of the project, You are
motivated, highly organised with strong multi-task capabilities and also hold a
Bachelor’s degree (or higher degrees) in Architecture
