seeking a civil/structural engineer with a minimum of 4 – 5 years
local design experience in civil works, stormwater drainage, stormwater
modelling, reinforced concrete, cold-formed sections & structural
steel. The successful applicant would be familiar with all of the major
Australian Standards & have experience using design software packages such
as Drains, MUSIC, Microstran, Slabs, RAPT, AutoCAD, etc.
Experience in residential, commercial & industrial developments is
essential. A good understanding of the construction process & experience
with site supervision would be advantageous. The ability to review &
evaluate design options & develop cost effective solutions for our client
s
is critical. Corporate membership of Engineers Australia (MIEAust) and national
registration (NPER) is essential.
The successful applicant will also possess excellent communication skills, a
sound work ethic and be motivated towards the ongoing success of the company.
They will be a team leader liaising with clients, project managers, builders
& other staff members. They will be responsibly for almost all aspects of
the day to day running of the consultancy & will report to the company
Principal.
