Our client is seeking an experienced Data Architect
to take responsibility for build of a data warehouse and for ensuring business
critical data and information assets are accurately represented across a number
of projects.

The role will be expected to drive development of
data strategies, blueprints, and data standards; and to act as key liaison
between business and IT stakeholders for data and information requirements
throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Provide analysis in understanding of data
requirements and support to projects and information services to ensure
fulfillment of data requirements; - Develop data warehouse strategy and
architecture from solution blueprint through to implementation; - Coordinate, develop, and communicate data
blueprints and strategies; - Set data standards;
- Data requirements analysis and data modelling;
and - Analysis of data needs for business process,
workflows, and interfaces.
Skills and Experience:
- Experienced data architect with demonstrable
skills in analysis and documentation of complex data models and database
structures; - Proven track record in support of data
requirements across the full project lifecycle; - Skills in RDBM based data models and
meta-models, and in Microsoft technologies; - Expertise in the elicitation of data
requirements and in physical and logical business data modelling; - Understanding of industry trends in database
technologies; - Knowledge of CRM, ERP, and web-based systems;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
able to promote collaboration with business and technical stakeholders;
and - Relevant tertiary qualification.
