cover Brisbane, Darling Downs and the Wide Bay areas of Queensland.

We have two positions available.
Position 1. Field
Fitter – We require a proactive maintenance fitter to join our team. To be
successful in this role it is essential that you have experience in the repair
and maintenance of crushing plant

and equipment in a quarry environment and be
able to carry out small fabrication and welding jobs if required.
Applicants should be familiar with;
- Crushers and their associated equipment
- Screens and screening process
- Bearings, high and low speed
- Bushings and machining practices
- Tolerance measuring and calculations
Position 2. Site
Fitter/Welder – We require an experienced Site Fitter/Welder with quarry
experience. The ideal person will have the ability to work unsupervised in a
safe and self-driven manner and should be familiar with the following:

- Different types of welding equipment
- Bucket Work
- Structural Fabrication
- Air-Arc Gouging
- Conveyors
- General Maintenance
- Guarding and lock-out regulations
- Welding in all positions to a high standard
A sound knowledge of Australian Standards regarding
handrails, walkways etc. is essential.

Both positions
will require the ability to maintain a working environment with a high level of
safety and housekeeping. Own basic tools and a flexible approach to
weekend work and “going the extra mile” is essential as our business
is based on customer satisfaction and our drive to ensure quarry sites enjoy
maximum availability.

Duties/responsibilities for both positions.
- Liaising with QPS and Site Management on any
issues that need attention, safety or production - Carrying out routine site inspections with
reports where necessary - Maintaining a neat and tidy work area at all
times - Participating in safety meetings
- Ensuring QPS and our customers site
safety and environmental standards are upheld at all times
Willingness to travel is essential, as our work
site locations cover Brisbane and the surrounding areas including our workshop
located in Narangba.
