who will supervise and co-ordinate our part-time and casual CYPSS workers who
provide a service to children in foster care, and children and young people
with disabilities.  This will include rostering staff; keeping the data
base up to date; developing the support plan for each child in
conjunction with the Social Workers and the Foster Carers; organising holiday
programs and special events for children and occasionally for foster carers;
developing the support worker service as part of the Key Assets Team parenting
approach; managing the service within budget.  It will also require the
provision of direct support work from time to time.

• be experienced in support work
• have sound administrative skills and be
  computer literate
• have prior experience of supervising staff,
• experience of working with high needs
  children/YP
• an understanding of child abuse and trauma
  related behaviours.
• an understanding of providing a service to
  children and young people with disabilities
• be able to work under supervision as well as
  be a self-starter able to take initiative
• be a good communicator
• be able to work as part of a team
• have a strong commitment to the well-being of
  children and young people
