JOB ANNOUNCEMENT (RE-ADVERTISEMENT)
In order to recruit well qualified and
experienced candidates under contract, Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) wishes
to re-advertise the vacant positions as follows:
1. Advisor
to the CEO (1)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice to the CEO and the
Board;
- Organize and coordinate Management meetings,
conferences and the CEO travel arrangements;
- Conduct and organize administrative duties
and activities including receiving and handling information and visitors
of the office of the CEO;
- Liaise with stakeholders, important persons
or relevant Institutions in order to ensure coherence, consistency and
harmony;
- Communicate verbally and in writing to
answer inquiries and providing necessary information;
- Perform any other duties assigned by CEO.
Required Experience & Qualification
- Master’s Degree with at least 2 years as
Advisor to High Official Government Institution in one of the following
field: Political Science, Law, Public Administration; Social work &
Communication
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience
in the field mentioned above;
- Excellent leadership, communication and
analytical skills;
- Working experience in Senior position;
- Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda is
essential; knowledge of French would be added advantage.
2.
Researcher (1)
Duties & Responsibilities
- To propose policy reforms regarding
socio-economic governance;
- Carry out research in socio-economic
governance;
- Analyze or have a socio-economic governance
lens in a wide range of information and research; ‘
- Conduct regular needs assessment and
recommend priority areas of improvement and deeper research with focus
on 4 pillars of the government;
- Ensure effective and quality control of
research;
- And any other duties that may be ‘assigned
by immediate supervisor .
Required Experience & Qualification
- Master’s Degree in : Economics, statistics,
Development studies or related field with 5 years in Research in
recognized Institution;
- At least 3 publications on issues pertaining
to socio-economic governance in a recognized journal;
- Experience in preparation, organization and
reporting of Policy Dialogues/Conferences;
- Ability to write & manage project
proposals and reports (narrative);
- Good knowledge and understanding of
qualitative survey research methods and analysis;
- Excellent knowledge of quantitative research
design, statistical analysis and benchmarking indices;
- Excellent knowledge of statistical software
such as SPSS, EViews or STATA;
- Ability to organize & conduct research,
training and outreach activities; — Experience in managing publication
both printed and online; .
- Excellent English and Kinyarwanda
communication skills (written &spoken), knowledge of French would be
added advantage
- Policy formulation analysis will be an added
advantage.

Administrative Assistant to the Head of Media Affairs and Communication
Division (1)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain schedules and calendars of his/her
supervisor
- prepare and manage correspondence, reports
and documents
- organize and coordinate meetings,
conferences, travel arrangements .
- implement and maintain office systems
- arrange and confirm appointments
- organize internal and external ‘events
- handle incoming mail and other material and
ensure immediate delivery to appropriate personnel
- communicate verbally and in writing to
answer inquiries and provide information
- coordinate the flow of information both
internally and externally .
Required Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in: Office Administration
and Management or Public Administration with 3 years of working
experience in the same field;
- Excellent communication;
- Interpersonal skills and service mindedness
essential;
- Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda is
essential;
- knowledge of French would be added
advantage.

10th December 2013 at 5:00 pm.

- Detailed CV including names and telephone
contacts of three reference persons
- Copies of academic Certificates.
