The City’s Building Services are seeking a
motivated and enthusiastic individual to fill the full-time role of Cadet
Building Surveyor. This position assists the Building Services team to ensure
that the standard of building in the municipality is maintained at the highest
possible level

, upholding the objectives of the Building Code of Australia and
other legislation. This position also assists in the administration of the
Residential Planning Codes, Local Laws and Council’s policies under the
Supervision of the Senior Building Surveyor, Building Surveyors and Building
Services Officer.
The salary range will be between $40,451 – $58,182
per annum, depending on qualifications and relevant experience. An immediate
membership to an excellent superannuation scheme (up to 13.5%) along with
complimentary leisureplex membership and flexible work arrangements (where
applicable) among other excellent benefits may be offered.
