Shooting:
  • The

  • Collection
coordinator may have very strong ideas on photographic style and/or
framing and lenses and impose these on the production.
  • Once it

operator will be involved with the collection coordinator on the choice of

the Grips to set up the shots while lighting and rehearsal of actors are

  • The

lines (lefts and rights) are correct – although for a camera operator this
    should be instinctive.

been recognized during the initial recording preparations.
  • Check
for any off-set items that may have crept onto the set such as lamp

collection coordinator or/and Director of Production whether or not the
    shot was good technically.
  • With
the almost universal use of video assist, many people can have an opinion
about a shot, but the camera operator should still have his say, as he
knows what he’s looking at and what for.
Knowledge
and Experience:
  • Experience
    with audio and video technologies.
  • Dynamic,
    creative and organized.
  • Fluent
in English or French (reading, writing and speaking).
